Gwaak! I have a bad head ace. Couldnt sleep well last nite. Nothing new I guess, I'm gettin used to it. I got some more shots in my photo collection but I wont post them as yet as there are couple of more subjects that I want to cover.
On my newfound hobby 'la photos', my friend Kali who is a professional photographer and a master in his field made an interesting remark. He said, "Fatima, if you can sell these pictures, then I will encourage this pursuit otherwise I would say you are wasting your creativity in this part of the world". Of course this is was after acknowledging that I do have good scope in photography.
Hmm... as crude as it may have sounded it did have a point ... but then its disappointing to see how commercial everything around me is. To start with we have no proper art galleries or any good painters, poets, fashion designers, photographers, clay artists etc. Here whatever sells and makes money is regarded 'creative'. *sigh* Well, I have decided I will do a collection as per the market and give it a shot. Maybe then I can get some professional training from Kali. :)
Oh hum! Its time to head home. I'm gonna take a nap and gear up for the evening. Hopefully this head ace will leave me alone. Lot of housework to do today. :(
