One for the road of life ...

Its a start of a new year, I know people go on about making all kinds of resolutions etc, but honestly, the last few months of last year, have brought about such a epiphany of what my actual priorities ought to be and am blessed to have had much needed closures.

I think, starting now, I really would like to get back to my writing (miss writing my columns - its been over 9 years), but hopefully, I can use this medium to get back to it.

Being liberated of your society induced pressures of "following the trends", "being slim" etc and in the process - forgetting the essence of the moment and just being smart with choices willingly - brings so much joy, contentment and peace to oneself. Glad am on it and will try to make the most of it.

Well kitties, tmro marks one more step to the age milestone ... yes, the birthday. Just grateful, I'm blessed that in this entire universe, there are only few folks that are actually happy to have me around.

A big thank you to my late Mother for letting me be her source of happiness, strength, her pride and the apple of her eyes. I will never stop to make her proud.

To all the birthday boys and girls out there, here's to you and hope you feel and are made to feel special by the ones who truly celebrate you.
